I am always awed by the spectacular surprises that Chictopia throws my way. One such surprise was a friend request from the lovely Sara of the blog "From Wonderland with Love." Intrigued by her photos, I went to check out her blog. Her style is the stuff of children's stories, feather dust, faeries, and frollicking in Hansel and Gretel's forest.
Her photography is striking and her prose lyrical and lilting.
She is the epitomy of pretty porn with images that ooze innocence and playfulness.

Desperately Seeking

This dress has made me a convert. I need more maxi dress... pronto!
The beading on the dress reminded me of some Arabian Nights theme, so I couldn't stop myself with the jewelry. I was all about the belly dancer vibe with chains and bangles and more than ample amounts of musical jewelry.

Somedays It's Easy Being Green

Photo taking wasn't so spectacular today so I settled on these two photos. I bought this ugly colored blazer at a garage sale yesterday and I love it. This is mostly because my mom and sister hate it. Ugly is always hot!

Do You Know the Way to Santa Fe

Had an extremely long meeting today. When I had just graduated college, I loved meetings because they made me feel so important and adult. Needless to say, the novelty has most certainly worn off.
To unwind, I am drinking bombers of Alaskan Smoked Porter from 2006 (so amazing) and Ommegang Abby Ale.
This location was an old depot for the Santa Fe rail line. The depot is now called Art Depot and it sells all kinds of independent art from locals.

Calling Your Bluff

I had a meeting this afternoon for my summer job so I attempted to change into something more appropriate. I'm not so sure about appropriateness, but I dug the outfit anyway.
The meeting is near a regional park that is an open space for the most amazing bluffs. I slid on over there and took my pictures, simply because I've always been curious about it.
