Working Girl

Today was my last day in the demonstration classroom, I'm back in my classroom for a day and then off to a Differentiated Instruction conference on Thursday. I also think I'm getting sick. Yuck!

Trapper

Eight inches of snow means a playdate inside. After messing around with photos on my bed, I pulled on my suede moccassins and put White Christmas on.

Oh, this afternoon I took the puppies out to bound in the snow. They had one hell of a time, but Loki's hair has a tendency to get these giant snowballs on them. He gets cold and then we have to throw him in a hot bath to melt the snowballs.

Acid

Yes, I am wearing acid washed leggings. They were so ugly it hurt my heart not to get them.

I Have Nothing

I was so excited to wear these boots again and have something cool to wear them with. The last time I wore them, the outfit was kind of dull.
Anyway, looking forward to drinking my Scottish Ale and then heading to bed with the pup.

Straight Deco

So, these shoes are like a thong for the feet. Flossy, barely there, slightly uncomfortable, but so completely worth it.
So, in my demonstration classroom there is a woman who appreciates fashion almost as much as I do. Today, I walked in with my big honking earrings that I love so dear, but always feel a bit self concious about. Keri looked at me and said "Girl, those earrings are straight deco!"
I was so pleased.
Anyway, I'm spending the evening sipping on Proseco and listening to all my new CD's. Just a few of my loves:
Imogen Heap, Gregory Alan Isakov, Brandi Carlile, Zee Avi, and Noah and the Whale. Imogen Heap and Brandi Carlile have been a favorite for many moons, but the other two are new finds. Plus, I have several more. I go on these crazy music sprees every couple of months.

I'm Prada You

I've had conferences the last two evenings and I am exhausted. Unfortunately, I've got a book that I'm dying to read and some writing that I'm getting into. Now, I don't want to go to sleep and I really should.
I would also like to send out copious thanks to all of my followers. I am now at 50, which I figured meant that I ought to commemorate this event. It is so beautiful to be surrounded by such a supportive group of fellow bloggers.
