Bleeding Heart Fashionista

This outfit is from Saturday. I felt so sexy in it, but realized that I needed to shave my legs (this slightly skimpy dress leaves quite the trail of leg). I was staying at my parents house, so I had to use a horrible razor and dry shave. This is the reason for the bleeding knee in the pictures. I kept trying to stop the blood, but now I rather like the effect.

The End is Nigh

In my state of reverie, taking a drive was the only option. I tossed the dog in the car and headed south. I found a quaint town called Louviers and fell deeply in love.







I love little towns such as Louviers. They are so quintessentially down-home American. I yearn for a life like that from time to time, but instead of living it, I simply visit and take pictures.







I think I'm going to enjoy a glass of Chardonnay and watch a movie now.

Poema

It was a bit nippy for this outfit, but I wore it anyway. One: because I wanted to; and two: because I like to feel autumn settling in. I'm not quite ready for full time sweater garb.
I brought the champagne bottle along because I thought it made such a pretty prop. I liked the name (Poema) so I bought it a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, it tasted rather like shit, so the bottle turned out to be its only redeeming quality.

I'm 1 Year Old

These photos are probably the most rushed I've ever done on my site. This is unfortunate given that today is my one year anniversary for the blog. It's interesting that I chose the same shirt and belt from my first outfit post ever on this blog.
I'm certainly not going to get all sentimental because I barely noticed the passing of this somewhat monumental event, but I still thought that it was worth noting an activity that has stuck in my life.
I have stuck with the blog for a year now. I can't commit to anything without severe discomfort and discord in my life... except for the blog.
I consider that progess in my endless battle with restlessness.

Wind Enchantment (and other excuses for my Narcissism)

The location for these photos is one of those places that you drive by once a week and think "Wow, I need to take outfit photos there" (or is that just something I do). The place ended up being cooler than I thought with a wealth of photo ops. Furthermore, the weather decided to emulate a tornado and there was this eerie howl floating in the air. It's never windy like that in Colorado, or at least not along the front range, so I'm always enchanted by the meteorological anamoly. I went completely picture crazy. Just when I thought I was finished, I turned to see myself in the mirror. Not unlike the story of Narcissus, I was transfixed by the fuzzy reflection and I couldn't help myself. Sorry!
Now, I'm popping Cherry Sours and finishing up some grading. Blech, I hate grading! It's loathsome.
