vampires and angels, secret gardens and passageways
This outfit compromises of a bunch of current favorite pieces and some old standbys. It makes no sense, but I'm alright with that.
I started playing with my lipstick while taking photos and thought it would be fun to take some shots. Some fatalities: Got a little lipstick on my dress and I still have the drawing emblazoned on my arm despite having washed it off.
So, I've have been overindulging in National Public Radio all weekend. I can't get enough of the programs on there. Yesterday, I listened to CarTalk, Market Place, and a Prairie Home Companion. Today, I devoured Splendid Table.
I got my roots done yesterday (for my hair) and I talked to my stylist about transitioning to a nonbleach color. The pain of bleaching and the subsequent breakage is really getting to me. Before I go to a darker color, though, I have a few surprises in store, which I am pumped about!

Good as Gold
Today was a day for a play date in the Museum of Outdoor Arts sculpture park. It was a little rainy this morning, but the sun prevailed.
Still...
I brought my favorite/only umbrella just in case.

By the Banks of the Sea
And thus begins the backlog
This is my attempt to make up for lost time. It's jumbled and most likely painful for the eyes to indulge, but I wanted to throw it out in one post and be done with it already.
This is what I wore this Monday after getting back from Spring Break.
Tee: Every Little Counts
Skirt: Thrifted from Saver's
Scarf: The Limited
Necklace: Express
Bracelet: Secondhand from garage sale
Sunglasses: Forever 21
Shoes: Colin Stuart Victoria's Secret
This is an outfit from my jaunt on the Riverwalk of San Antonio. It wasn't my favorite town. I much prefered Austin-- way more musical, way more college town, definitely more quirky and that equals very me.
I did get to have a giant (and killer) margarita in San Antonio, though.
Dress: Pinupgirl Clothing
Necklaces: Secondhand and a shop in Austin, TX
Shoes: Amiclubwear
This was the oufit that I wore before I left for San Antonio two Sundays ago.
Dress: LaRok
Tank: Old Navy
Socks: American Apparel
Boots: Forever 21
Jacket: Wet Seal
Virgin Mary Necklace: Ebay
Sunglasses: Shop in Chinatown, San Fransisco

Dreaming...
Today was a day for whimsy. In Colorado, Easter typically signals the beginning of Spring since our seasons are a little more tumultuous. So, today I reminicsed about peppermint tea, my trip to the beach this week, drinking mead for an Oester ceremony, and adding to my long dormant dream box (from high school).
Dress: Lane Bryant
Necklace: Express
