So, my principal asked me to be on the Super Intendent's teacher forum for my school district today, and he invited me to spend a month in a Readers/Writers workshop lab classroom for a month in October to learn more about the curriculum. Both of these are super awesome opportunities, especially for a first year teacher who just started a week ago tomorrow. I'm thrilled and shocked and asking why the hell he has such immense faith in me.
