Lisa, by the way, I am a teacher. I teach literacy to seventh graders. When I went to your blog, I noticed that you teach English (or literature). I noticed that you were teaching Englightenment texts. My god, I'm jealous. Wishing I was teaching that!
Seventh grade is tough! Especially literacy, I'm getting my masters in special ed now and all the literacy stuff seems so overwhelming.
I teach 9th grade world history, which is really fun, but my curriculum is ridiculous. I'm supposed to cover Enlightenment to 9/11.
