I've had conferences the last two evenings and I am exhausted. Unfortunately, I've got a book that I'm dying to read and some writing that I'm getting into. Now, I don't want to go to sleep and I really should.
I would also like to send out copious thanks to all of my followers. I am now at 50, which I figured meant that I ought to commemorate this event. It is so beautiful to be surrounded by such a supportive group of fellow bloggers.

Chelsea, I'm actually reading a book called My Bloody Life: The Making of a Latin King. A lot of my kids are reading it, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's actually a wonderful read and the former gang member who wrote it is shockingly articulate (for having dropped out of school at 13).
