I couldn't think of a more magical day to begin my student teaching experience. Obama's inauguration was so historic, so breathtaking, and so masterful and the school where I am teaching chose to change their schedule to watch it live. It was magnificient. Anyway, I'm exhausted. So exhausted, in fact, that I forgot to take of my staff badge for these photos. Oops. The outfits for the next couple of weeks will be pretty classic and professional since I'm establishing myself as an authority figure among my students. It always sounds so weird when I talk about myself as a figure of authority.
