I'm the 1950's Elementary School Teacher

Van Halen-Hot for Teacher
I was chatting with a colleague at the last in a long slew of student teaching orientation meetings about the difference between secondary and elementary teachers. I'm secondary language arts so I will be in charge of the future of 6th through 12th graders potentially. I know. Sometimes it freaks me out, too. Basically, secondary teachers are the sarcastic, sardonic teachers, while the elementary teachers are typically the real sweet care takers. Today I look more like the latter than the former... except for one minor alteration.
I'm not sure if you can even see it in the photos, but please excuse the creepy looking surgical pad on the left side of my neck. I just got a tattoo behind my ear (which I will take photos of probably tomorrow) and the bandage was meant to protect it for about an hour or so. I am also adding to the bird on my left arm next friday.

Also, I have made some seriously rad shoe purchases that I will share with you later!

Skirt: Secondhand (Arc)
Tank: Old Navy
Cardigan: Secondhand (Goodwill)
Skeleton Key Necklaces: Vintage (Callie & Mo; Mile Hi Flea Market)
Shoes: Colin Stuart
Bag: Nine West
Scarf: Vintage from ebay

Thanks all!
Toni, I'm looking forward to it because I think I work well with middle schoolers, but I also am afraid that they will eat me alive!
